Writing a book, for morons like myself.

Before reading please understand that these are the rules that I follow. These are more like "guidelines" that I TRY to follow when writing, or putting together a story. There really is no one way to write a book. Everyone is different and that needs to be understode.

First off, to understand the point of writing a book you HAVE to have persistence.
You can't just start writing a novel one day and then get an idea and abandon your book the next day. That is a very bad habbit that needs to be broken.

Another thing that has to be known is characters. Writing a ficton book for teenagers is VERY challenging. Teenagers love characters that are relatable, and everyone has flaws so creating a character without flaws will be unentertaining to the reader.

In a timeline you should have, at least ,one fault. This is not a children's book, this is for people who like drama, action, fighting and pretty much any theme you can place in a book. Everything can't be happily ever after.... well, I guess it could, but then is that a fun book to read?

Keep it interesting, my friend. Your writing a relationship? Have the couple overcome something together. Your writing about adventure? Don't be afriad to kill off a primary character. (VERY IMPORTANT!: DO NOT KILL OFF A CHARACTER THAT IS NEEDED TO FINISH THE BOOK! MAKE THE READER WANT MORE!)
